Hey GO Family!
A wee bit late. But, let us spend some time with our Ephesians passage. Are you ready? I know, I am.
I invite you to take the time to read through this passage in different translations. My Bible app, of choice, is YouVersion. Unless I am on my laptop. Then, I utilize Bible Gateway. Use whichever helps you to read, understand, and pray through your time in God’s Word!
6 And this brings praise to God because of his wonderful grace. God gave that grace to us freely. He gave us that grace in Christ, the one he loves. 7 In Christ we are made free by his blood sacrifice. We have forgiveness of sins because of God’s rich grace. 8 God gave us that grace fully and freely. With full wisdom and understanding 9 he let us know his secret plan. This was what God wanted, and he planned to do it through Christ. 10 God’s goal was to finish his plan when the right time came. He planned that all things in heaven and on earth be joined together with Christ as the head. – Eph. 1:6-10, ERV
May we choose to focus on our God’s amazing grace! To be fixing our eyes on Christ using this passage of Scripture on Easter weekend is a beautiful gift.
God made known His secret plan.
He offers His grace to us freely.
He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins, where He rose on the third day, and offers us brand new life and reconciliation.
Oh friends, we were made to be in relationship with God – our Creator. When we sinned against God in the garden, our relationship with God was forever altered.
But through Christ, we have been reconciliated to our God.
God made a way when there was no way to be brought back into His glorious presence. When we confess our sins, acknowledge Jesus as our Savior, and believe Him as our great Redeemer, we are finally forever reunited with our God and Creator.
As we live in crazy days, we get to experience a bit of unity with our neighbors. Imagine what it would be like if many became reconciled to God during this time. Imagine what Heaven will be like when we are finally reunited to our God like nothing we could ever imagine.
These day, we get a glimpse. What we need more than anything is our Savior Jesus. We don’t need to hoard supplies at the stores. What we truly need is King Jesus to take control of our lives.
Take today and this weekend, and bask in His grace and the kind of unity you too can have with our God through our Savior Jesus.
